Marianne was drawn to the Colorado Lab’s mission of using data to solve Colorado’s most pressing problems. Before joining the Colorado Lab, Marianne worked for over two decades in local government and private consulting. Her work included evaluating management strategies and developing community frameworks to protect local ecological assets. She holds master’s degrees in applied ecology from Indiana University, Bloomington and applied mathematics from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Marianne applies her experience in local government and statistical background to a diversity of projects at the Colorado Lab. Two of the Colorado Lab’s essential elements speak most strongly to Marianne: rigor and actionability. She enjoys helping individuals and organizations ensure they have the best possible data to inform decision-making and achieve their goals.
Marianne finds joy in most outdoor pursuits including hiking, biking, and camping, and relishes spending time with friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews.
