Christian joined the Colorado Lab to help government and community partners take a data-driven approach to program design and implementation. Prior to joining the Colorado Lab, Christian worked as a research associate at the Association of Washington Cities, where he partnered with municipal employees to gather, analyze, and visualize data around a host of issue areas. At the Association of Washington Housing Authorities, Christian engaged in research and analysis to further the advocacy efforts of the state’s public housing authorities. Christian received a master’s in public administration from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy & Governance and a bachelor’s in political economy from Georgetown University.
As a researcher at the Colorado Lab, Christian focuses on programs and policies that address issues in housing and homelessness, child welfare, education, and workforce development. He is passionate about the Colorado Lab’s Essential Element of rigor. By meeting partners where they are, tailoring analysis plans, and applying the most appropriate methods, we can obtain actionable evidence for decision making.
Christian enjoys biking, climbing, and skiing with his wife and their two dogs.
