Project Abstract

This project is a partnership between prosecutors and researchers to promote more effective, just, and transparent decision making in prosecution through data. This two-year project will be implemented in two phases. During phase one, we will work with eight prosecutors’ offices to pilot the implementation of the indicators, conduct analyses of racial/ethnic and economic disparities, and create data dashboards. During phase two, we will develop the tools and infrastructure to scales use of the indicators and data dashboards statewide. During both phases we will support cross-site learning by facilitating quarterly workshops to share progress and lessons learned.
